How Air Force Bases Stack Up

Air Force Times ranked 68 stateside Air Force bases using 12 different criteria to calculate a weighted score out of a possible 240 points. Cost of living, housing, schools and commissaries are weighted triple and are worth up to 30 points each; crime health care, transportation and exchanges are weighted double and are worth up to 20 points each; and pollution, climate, unemployment and sales tax rates are worth 10 points each.
